Ryan Miller
Ryan is a Venture Capital & Angel investor in technology, life sciences, and alternative energy. He’s a recovering investment banker who launched his career on Wall Street right at the height of the 2008 crash. At the peak of market pain, Ryan Miller rebuilt his career from scratch.
 His Podcast, “Making Billions with Ryan Miller”, was recently ranked in the global top 15 Venture Capital Podcasts on the internet as well as the top 2.5% of all podcasts in the world. After graduating with a master’s degree in finance, he went on to serve as the VP of Finance & Corporate Development for an Oil & Gas company where he oversaw mergers and acquisitors of upstream energy assets.Â
 His success here led him to go on to serve the Chief Financial Officer for a National, award-winning InsurTech company, which he grew 50% year-over-year under his leadership. He managed and mentored his part of organization of over 250 professionals while serving in this role.Â
 In addition to mentoring emerging fund managers, Ryan was also part of the management of a $250M portfolio of technology investments & start-ups by bringing his in-depth machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and deep economic analysis that led him to dominate modern portfolio management & theory across his industry.
 He has a BSc. in Finance from BYU and a Master of Financial Management from UofA. He currently sits as a board member for a Biotech company bringing innovative healing medicines to some of the most vulnerable people around the world.  When he isn’t coaching, he is fulfilling his other duties as the Founder & Managing General Partner at his Venture Capital Fund, Pentium Capital Partners.
Vu Tran
Vu Tran is a specialist in pitching, framing, and closing deals. Vu is a serial entrepreneur, real estate investor, and business coach. His mother and father successfully escaped their home country during the Vietnam War, making him a first-generation American-born citizen. He is the first of his seven siblings to join the military serving almost a decade in the United States Marine Corps. He specialized in logistics, supply chain management, Lean Six Sigma, and intelligence. After the Marine Corps, he decided to focus on investing and coaching across the globe.
Vu has specialized in launching businesses and growth strategies. He is particularly well versed in pitching, articulating entrepreneurial messaging, elevating brands, integrating business systems to improve efficiency, and leveraging debt. He uses his experience to build more powerful businesses.Â
Currently, Vu is building a diversified portfolio of businesses including a construction company, a mortgage brokerage, a short-term rental business, and a diversified real estate development and acquisitions group. He is currently working on opening 50 restaurants in the next 5 years.
As a Black Card Specialty coach, Vu will use his diverse experience to help Black Card members craft their story into a refined pitch that will inspire investors to monetarily support Black Card funds.
Adam Campbell
Adam W. Campbell, CPA brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business intelligence including 5+ years in family offices and 10+ years of work in PE backed real estate companies focused on multi-family, commercial, debt and seniors housing developments. He was a founding employee for a real estate fund in Salt Lake City, UT that managed over $5 Billion of AUM. He has played key roles in scaling accounting & finance departments from the ground up in privately held and VC/PE backed operating companies. Adam also has extensive experience transportation, waste management, hospitality, industrial mining, and new venture finance industries.
In addition to his professional background, Adam is the Alumni Chairman of the Undergraduate Engagement program at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business that helps over 1,200+ new incoming students annually to define, align and refine their education goals into future careers. He is licensed CPA in Utah and a regular mentor and judge of the Opportunity Quest and Utah Entrepreneur Challenge. Adam received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Utah and he completed post graduate studies in Business Analytics from the Harvard School of Business.
Benjamin Reiter
Benjamin Reiter is Co-founder and General Partner of 840 Venture Partners, an early-stage VC fund investing in FinTech and Future of Work. The fund's thesis is that FinTech and FoW are essential areas of life in which technology has the power to make a significant positive human impact. Benjamin is an experienced venture capital investor with a multi-disciplinary background. Prior to co-founding 840VP, he held a lead operational role as Principal at Starta Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm and startup accelerator in New York City. His responsibilities consisted of diligencing technology companies as investment opportunities, negotiating and closing investment deals, and co-directing the firm's flagship startup accelerator program. Benjamin worked closely with over 70 startup companies from around the world in Starta Accelerator, supporting them in all aspects of US market entry. He has scouted and screened over 1,200 investment prospects, from pre-seed to Series A, and closed over 50 investment transactions. Benjamin has an MBA in HR Management & Organizational Behavior from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, and an MS in Nutritional Sciences from San Diego State University
Cristhian Andrews
Focusing on thematic investing strategies since 2014, it is with effervescent passion that Cristhian pursues the efficient allocation of capital to its highest and most intelligent use. Currently, Cristhian serves as the investment manager of Initiative’s Pure Alpha and Strategy Funds.
As an Entrepreneur, he has personally focused on building companies that cut across economic inefficiencies - leading teams with careful objectivity, excruciating research & analysis and a keen eye for knowing where to look when others are distracted.
Over the past few years, Cristhian served as Chief Investment Officer of a small NY-Based Endowment, has managed Real Estate acquisitions and diversified his time with Film & Media - which strengthened his diversity for valuations & acquisitions, his ability to identify alpha, and achieve successful returns above benchmarks.
With a successful business & investment record, Cristhian founded a social-issued based film production company (Audacity Innovative) that established itself in the film industry after one of Cristhian’s films (the true story of the last days of a pregnant 12-year-old child bride) was shortlisted for a BAFTA (British Academy Award) nomination. After managing a private institution’s endowment, Cristhian currently sits on the Board of Prolific Artists, a privately held institution with prestigious professors from Harvard, Juilliard, Yale & NYU.
Cristhian studied at The Wharton School of Business, and has a BA/BFA in Global Studies & Music from The New School.
Dan Pierson
Dan Pierson is an experienced Black Card coach, dedicated to assisting clients with identifying and resolving challenges encountered while launching and growing their funds. With a rich background as an entrepreneur, Dan embarked on his business journey at the age of 19, when he made the bold decision to leave college and purchase his first small business in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2012. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore and engage in a wide variety of business ventures, including the ownership of multiple fitness centers, paving his way towards private equity.
Dan's expertise extends to the realm of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), where he established a boutique brokerage aimed at facilitating the sale and acquisition of businesses, leveraging his extensive experience from his early twenties. This endeavor not only showcased his knack for business but also allowed him the financial freedom to pursue his passion for commercial real estate. Immersing himself in the industry, Dan actively participated in masterminds, attended professional events, and sought guidance from mentors.
The advent of Covid prompted a strategic pivot in his commercial real estate investment approach, leading to his collaboration with Bridger and the Black Card. As one of the inaugural members of the Black Card, Dan conceptualized and launched Pierson Equity Group. The firm specializes in originating debt solutions that transition to equity upon repayment, combining elements of mezzanine financing and hard money lending at a more significant scale. Dan's proficiency in team building, board development, and investment strategy formulation is a testament to his comprehensive skill set.

Dustin Gomez
Dustin is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated with honors from Louisiana State University earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. He later earned a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in organizational leadership. Dustin holds Lean Six Sigma Certification and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in both Louisiana and Florida. Over the past 19 years, he has held significant positions in upper management within the telecommunications sector.
As an authentic action oriented leader, Dustin has developed service excellence in staff development, process implementation, and streamlining cross functional workgroups. His extensive background encompasses leadership roles in sales, operations, marketing, project management, systems engineering, and network deployment, overseeing operations across multiple states and managing hundreds of employees in various departments. Dustin is extensively grounded in business acumen, trust based relationships, and proven accountability techniques. As a highly structured thinker, he excels at translating intricate ideas into actionable strategies across multiple points of distribution and channels within distinct market segments. Simultaneously managing his day job, Dustin ventured into real estate investment on the side, beginning with the conversion of his initial residence into a rental property in 2013.
Encouraged by early success, he reinvested all profits into acquiring additional properties. During this period, he honed in on a specific tenant profile and developed the ability to match properties with their ideal occupants. Initially focusing on LSU students, he expanded his rental portfolio to include Southeastern University and vacation homes in Florida. Dustin continuously expanded his expertise in real estate investment through consistent reading, mentorship programs, and coaching sessions. By 2022, Dustin’s real estate investment activities had thrived to the point where he could transition from his corporate career to become a full-time real estate investment professional.
In response to numerous requests, he chose to incorporate external capital and The Geauxmez Group was born. Dustin successfully launched a $20M real estate fund primarily dedicated to residential property acquisition. Dustin has participated in multiple asset classes for real estate investing, but his primary focus remains on growing his “buy and hold” portfolio. Possessing a unique grasp of macroeconomic cycles, he adeptly adjusts strategies to consistently meet investor expectations. Dustin possesses an unmatched dedication to real estate, investment, and aiding others. Jon Lelegren
Jon joined Fund Launch in November 2023 to assist with Fund Finances training. Jon has twelve years of fund experience with responsibility for fund management, administration, and financial reporting. Prior to working with investment funds, Jon served 17 years in public accounting as an auditor of public companies and various finance companies, and six years in the investment banking industry. Jon is a CPA and earned a Master of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Brigham Young University
Jake Gubler
Jake Gubler is well-versed in M&A, private / public capital raises, and private fund dynamics. Jake most recently helped found, scale, and run a $30M+ growth-stage private equity fund focused on growth equity and buyout investments. Prior to his experience within the emerging fund community, Jake ran corporate development at a public company, and spent time as an investment banker at both Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Jake has executed ~$10B in cumulative M&A and equity / debt transactions throughout his career, primarily across the technology, consumer / retail, and industrial industries.Â
Gabe Araish
Gabriel has been at the forefront of the securities regulation and compliance sector for over a decade and is the award-winning author of “Secrets of Securities Compliance – The Art of Raising Money the Right Way” helping Canadians raise money without breaking the law.Â
He worked in Montreal, at the Autorité des marchés financiers (“AMF”), one of Canada’s Securities and Exchange Commission’s equivalents for eight years, serving as a senior securities analyst and financial statements officer in the Corporate Finance Division.
He was responsible for the review and analysis of capital raising offerings and takeover bids subject to the provisions of the Securities Act (QuĂ©bec) and securities regulations in Canada.Â
Gabriel was also tasked to lead the provincial multidisciplinary team that studied and drafted crowdfunding rules and coordinated the work with other participating Canadian regulators.
Before joining the AMF, Gabriel worked for a large reputable accounting firm in Montreal in the audit practice group where he led several audit files involving private and public companies in various industries.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from McGill University. He also holds a graduate diploma in public accountancy from McGill University and is a member of the Ordre des Comptables Professionnels Agréés du Québec.
Gabriel started many of his own businesses to be more present for his wife and two children. He currently owns and operates several local and international businesses in many industries, including securities regulation and compliance consulting, real estate, private lending and e-commerce.
John Pagli
John M. Pagli, Jr., is a senior business development advisor in the alternative investment industry with broad and deep experience with hedge fund and private markets strategies. Based in Connecticut, he leads capital raising advisory mandates for raising capital for alternative investment managers and creating new products for alternative investors. John is a globally positioned C-Level strategic business development and operating executive with broad and deep experience of over 25 years in alternative financing and investments across the full spectrum of structures and investments ranging from private markets, spanning leveraged finance, structured finance, private equity, mezzanine financing, private debt and credit, infrastructure and project finance, and ESG, impact and Opportunity Zone investments, to an extensive array of hedge fund strategies.
John has been integral to the development and management of alternative financing and investment businesses at all key phases of the business and product life cycles, both organically and strategically, through new product development, capital raising, investor relationship management, and the creation and management of joint ventures and strategic partnerships to launch and distribute new products to institutional, family office, UHNW investors and wealth managers globally. He has been an active member of executive and investment committees, sourcing and allocating capital to internal principal investment strategies and to external managers. He is driven by creative, client-centric, complex problem-solving, drawing on prior experiences in commercial banking, investment banking, principal investing and consultative selling. John is a frequent speaker on the international conference circuit and a contributing author to various industry publications.
John has worked with several industry leading firms in capital markets and investment banking, hedge funds and private markets. He began his career in specialized lending with National Westminster Bank, after completing the bank’s credit training program at the top of his class, and then joined Union Bank of Switzerland to co-found and co-manage the North American project finance group, with aggregate transaction values in excess of $1 billion. John then moved to Wall Street and worked on a number of high-profile financing and advisory assignments and principal investments with Merrill Lynch with an aggregate transaction value of over $2.5 billion. Later, he embarked on his career in business development with alternative investment managers. As President and Managing Partner, John grew assets under management from $59 million to over $1.5 billion, and another $600 million for a few other alternative investments as head of business development. More recently, he managed the launch of several private markets funds with Prospect Capital Management, a leading business development company, and developed strategic investment partnerships for Corvias, a leading military and student housing and infrastructure developer.
John earned an MBA degree with distinction from New York University Stern Graduate School of Business Administration and a BSBA degree, cum laude, from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
Brent Mott
Brent was born and raised in central Texas. Brent comes from a long line of entrepreneurs. His grandmother, Helen Mott, has been investing in real estate since the 1960’s. Brent saw the successes that she had and developed an interest in real estate at a very young age.
Brent earned his BBA in Economics from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 2007. After graduation, Brent spent a year working for a non-profit before attending Texas Tech University where he earned his MBA with a 4.0 GPA.
Brent spent four years in the corporate world in high end retail sales. While working his 9-5 he began investing in real estate on the side
By 2014, Brent’s real estate investment activities had become successful enough to allow him to leave his corporate occupation to become a full-time real estate investing professional. After more success, Brent was recruited to become a real estate investing coach and speaker. Brent has coached and trained hundreds of real estate investors across the United States.
Brent has participated in multiple exit strategies for real estate investing, but his primary focus is on growing his “buy and hold” portfolio. Brent’s Portfolio includes: Single Family Residential Homes, Duplexes, Triplexes, Apartment Complexes, Self-Storage, Office Buildings and Land Development. In 2020 Brent joined Investment Fund Secrets and applied what he learned to raise $2,500,000 to start a fund to build a portfolio of SFR properties. Brent and his team are on track to break $100,000,000 assets under management.
Brent is passionate about real estate, investing, and helping people. Brent Campbell
Brent Campbell is the Founder and Managing Director of the NXS Crypto Fund, a private fund focused on the investment and management of digital assets for family offices and high net worth individuals. Previously, Brent was part of the founding team and the Chief Operating Officer of the venture-backed fintech, Squeeze.com. He has been on business networks such as NBC, Bloomberg, South Florida Business & Wealth, Sun-Sentinel, USA Today, and many others.
Brent has an entrepreneurial fintech and corporate finance background. He holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and a BS in Finance from Florida State University.
Brent is a south Florida native who is committed to making a difference in our community. He serves on the board of Broward Sheriff's Advisory Council - an organization dedicated to helping local law enforcement and their families as well as Operation Lift Hope - an organization focused on helping homeless veterans and families.Â
He was awarded “Top 40 Professionals Under 40” by South Florida Business and Wealth. Most importantly, Brent is happily married to Dr. Kate Campbell and the proud father of two boys Landon (6) and Jaxon (2).
